Colour for me has a positive energy and exuberance that I've always been drawn to and a lyrical energy that connects to pattern and texture. I am naturally curious with a very loose approach to making so I find it easy to work with multiple mediums, always with the intention of using a visual vocabulary that crosses all materials. Layering is a technique that has become a signature of my work combining colour, pattern and texture often with a three dimensional element.
